Beloved Mother Earth

Sky, earth, water, air and fire the basic five elements of nature. All with their super natural power and specialization. When we go for spiritual workout and meditations we should use these powers to get much better results in every part of ours whether it is related to aura, chakras or our physical body. It helps us all for free throughout our lives just by asking their help to send us their special powers and thus, we gain good health and also spiritual benefits.

Modernization is always good but not at the cost of our mental, physical and auric loss. Science is taking us on higher levels for modern techniques and machine world. We all feel good when we see certain new inventions and experiments and most of us even wish to be like those inventors and scientists. It is fun, excitement and victory upon certain thoughts which came into existence successfully.

We never realize the things we left back in our past is also very precious. There was no sophistication about doing things with the help of nature or to be with nature. Playing in mud bare footed, swimming in open water sources, move around in green fields with minimum clothes, cook food on wood/coal fire in open space, etc. If you try to share this with your grand parents or great grand parents they will recall their past and those happy peaceful moments and might get wet eyes full of joy and memories. This will happen to them because they have experienced all of it and they know the advantage. Many people around the world are working hard to explain these things to new generations but they hardly get any response as these processes and life style is very time consuming.

We all living with tendencies of getting free things like anything, it is like we always crave for it, but we forget to use it once it is in our hands. Power of nature is one of those free things we run for and then never use it. The only reason behind it is that – “It’s Totally Free”. Just think, what will happen if nature starts sending us cash invoice every time we use air to breath, water to drink, walk on earth, gaze the sky and fire to cook. Whole world will become bankrupt in months because all these things are very precious. Those who are capable of using it never thinks of the one not able to see it for days.

These five elements have their specific properties used to heal our auric, mental, spiritual and physical body. No medicine is as good as healing energy of nature. Any medication taken will just do certain chemical balance in our body. If we stay with nature and its healing energies we might never need any medication. Let us try to know about our beautiful nature.

We will go through them one by one.

EARTH ENERGY

It is very good for physical strength, mental strength and it is like the real life force which tries to maintain our existence on earth. It helps to get rid of depression and other similar mental imbalances. We can understand this with the example of a farmer, when you look at any farmer you will notice a very good physic, strength, power, happiness because he stays on ground, works with mud for the most of his time everyday. Earth energy gives him energy for all this things and keeps him away from any kind of mental disorders and physical weakness. You can find all the healing energies from the herbs, plants and trees grown on earth which are used to prepare ancient and modern medicines which we use it in either ways i.e. use it directly or convert it into pills.

It is believed that walking barefoot gives you more energy, clears your mind, fights varicose vein, free reflexology session, helps you do grounding, more ability to spread toes, helps decreasing anxiety and depression, strengthens & stretches muscles, tendons & ligaments in your feet, ankles & calves. So from now onward  try to be bit desi while going out and feel our beautiful loving earth barefoot instead of branded footwear.

earth_prayer

Prayer and meditation with earth energy:

Oh beloved mother earth,
We are all your children,
Please forgive our sins, any harm done to you consciously or unconsciously,
May you be bless with divine love, light and power,
May you be rejuvenated,
Blessings be to mother earth,
Please bless us with your divine healing energies,
Send us your power for our betterment,
In full faith.
We thank you for taking care of us every moment.
Thank you.

Start meditation after this prayer:
Do some normal physical exercise for around 3-5 minutes. Stand, sit or lay down on ground bare footed. Close your eyes. Take few deep breaths. Feel the divine energy from earth entering in your whole system, healing each and every part of your system, throwing away any dirty energy or blockages from your whole system completely and destroying those diseased energy. Feel the divine love, peace, light and power in you. Be relaxed. Stay in the hands of mother earth for some time. Open your eyes when you feel like you have finished your meditation. Shake your body to release extra energy. Finish it with thanks giving prayer to mother earth.

Please take good care of earth and it’s properties. We all know that we will be helpless once earth start taking it’s revenge (earthquakes).

See you soon with next element. Take Care!!

Navratri Festival

Apologize for this very very late post, was busy up with some hospital matters and other work. I will be really thankful to receive your forgiveness. Enjoy the post. God bless you all.

Maa, Mother, Mom, etc. are the names we use to call our mothers. Right from the day you start growing in her womb, mother is the only person who is always worried for the child, father is equally responsible for taking care of his child but a mother is a mother. Mother is the only person who knows the mood and feelings of child just by reading the face and certain body language. In the time of crisis, she is the only family member who will skip her meal for her hungury kids and rest you all know about the varied qualities of a mother.

We have many goddesses in various cultures which are worshiped as our beloved mother. There are many types of rituals and celebrations through out the world to respect and worship them. Here, we are going to know about an Indian festival called Navratri (meaning Nine Nights in Sanskrit language where Nava is Nine and Ratri is Night). During these nine nights and ten days nine different goddesses (a.k.a. Shakti/Devi/Mother) are worshiped. Tenth day is called Vijayadashmi or Dussehra. It is said that there was a war held between a devil and goddess for nine days and on the tenth day goddess killed that devil and all the people celebrated the victory of goddess.

Navratri is very important festival, celebrated in major western parts like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka during which people perform traditional dance called “Garba”. It is also famous in Northern India including Bihar, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and the northern state of Punjab.

The dates of the festival are determined according to the Lunar Calendar and this period is considered as the most appropriate time for taking sacred opportunities to worship Divine Mother Durga.

Navratri is celebrated five times in a year in different months namely: Vasanta Navaratri, Ashadha Navaratri, the Sharada Navaratri, and the Paush/Magha Navaratri.

Nine forms of Goddesses are worshiped according to different regions as shown below:

  • Maa Durga, the inaccessible one
  • Maa Bhadrakali
  • Maa Amba or Jagadamba, Mother of the universe
  • Maa Annapoorna devi, The one who bestows grains (anna) in plenty (purna: used as subjective)
  • Maa Sarvamangala, The one who gives joy (mangal) to all (sarva)
  • Maa Bhairavi
  • Maa Chandika or Chandi
  • Maa Lalita
  • Maa Bhavani
  • Maa Mookambika

Jay Aadhya Shakti (Do not worry about rythm and music, it may not be same but lyrics are same all over)

Garba – Traditional Dance performed during Navratri

Ravan Dahan on the tenth day

  • Sabudana vada
  • Sabudana Khichadi
  • Makhane Ki Sabzi
  • Sawank Ke Chawal
  • Dahi Pudine Wale Aloo
  • Makhane Ki Sabzi
  • Shakarkandi Ki Chaat

Make Others Smile

Website Translation Widget (For website url: http://www.doyoureckon.wordpress.com)

In routine life, I wake up in the morning with certain thoughts in my mind… wait, wait, wait, it is just so boring to go through same old lines which we read in many books often. How about starting it with last evening or night and then reach towards the morning scene, huh! Sounds good!? Ok, rewind, rewind, rewind, last night I was with my friends/relatives/office meeting/day out/out of town/at home, it can be anything. I reached home and got freshen up, was ready for the lovely bed (not all have that lovely bed, but it’s a bed for sure), had a glass of water and switched off the lights, while thinking about so many things, I went off to sleep. Next morning, I wake up (while reading ahead, you should not expect anything…) with a lovely smile and hope which I guess was not there yesterday till I went off to sleep. I started my routines and ready to go to work/school/site seeing… etc… etc…, now here comes the interesting part, I started my routines and ready to go out and what I saw is – “It is all same, nothing new”. It is the moment when you really wanted to feel and think – “Every day is exactly the same”, am I right? Yes, I am. – It’s not just about me, it can also be your story.

Here I would like to drag your attention towards this beautiful song with very realistic lyrics presented by a band “Nine Inch Nails” and the song name is … yes you are right, it’s “Every day is exactly the same”. For Hollywood movie lovers while listening to this song might feel like where I have heard this song? Well, it was used as a movie soundtrack in the movie called – “Wanted”. Still confused? It was used for the hero of the movie who is very frustrated with his life, no money, ugly stupid annoying lady boss always finds him guilty and lazy and always shouts on him, as shown in the movie, next day again when the hero goes to ATM (Any Time Money) machine he finds his account empty and gets upset and start moving towards the office. If you still can’t recall, I will suggest you to watch the movie.

Here is the video, try to listen and feel each and every word of the song and am sure you will feel like – “Oh no! Some way or the other, even I sometimes behave like the character in the song”. If I am not wrong, the counter might reach to around 60-70% of people who have adopted such life styles.

Alright! Alright! I know my readers; stop reading further if you have not watched the video, go for it before you continue.

Really sorry for that video, I never ever wanted such video on here but it was necessary to show you the mirror. So anyways, how was it? Shocked, shivered or at least felt odd, do not worry.

Have you ever thought of spreading happiness to people around you, even strangers and I am sure your answer will – “Yes, I did this, I do that, I always take care” but I think you are not doing it satisfactorily as it is next to impossible if you are not under pressure to do that to stay connected with those people. Think about strangers you come across every day, can you do the same thing for them, do you really care for the person walking next to you on the street, no need to reply as you know the answers. How about putting a smile on those people you never know, you never met. In the previous post named – “Blessing Power”, I have mentioned – Almost people of all cultures believe that – “As you SOW so shall you REAP: Life is like a boomerang. Our thoughts, deeds and words return to us sooner or later much more than we sow”, it applies here also. You make someone smile and one day you will have hundreds of people to make you smile.

What I am trying to say is, if you will try to help others in any form, you will receive the same many many times. I have planned something for all of us, every week I will give you a new idea to make others happy, we will follow that idea whole week. I would like to receive your comments, your feelings and your experiences while practicing the idea so that every week readers will have fun and have interesting things to learn and follow the new idea for the next week.

This is really interesting and fun, once you start doing it, it will be like… “My goodness, it’s awesome, I never felt such happiness before”, so I think you ready to feel the divine happiness and peace, right? Ok let’s go for it.
